Stratovarius-discografia

Stratovarius es una banda finlandesa de power metal fundada en 1984 en Helsinki. Inspirados en la música clásica decidieron mezclar la música clásica con el Power Metal logrando un metal neoclásico. Es una de las bandas más influyentes, importante y rápida de Europa. Le han abierto las puertas a muchas bandas jóvenes del Power Metal que le brindan homenaje.

Han vendido mas de 3,5 millones de discos y conseguido 7 discos de oro y 4 Grammy en su país. Han grabado 15 discos de estudio, componer más de 150 canciones y realizado más de 1200 shows. Stratovarius, junto con Helloween, Blind Guardian, Rhapsody of Fire y Sonata Arctica, es considerado uno de los principales exponentes del power metal. La banda ha conocido muchos cambios en su alineación; no queda ninguno de los miembros fundadores de la banda desde que Tuomo Lassila la abandonara en 1995 y en la actualidad, el miembro más antiguo es Timo Kotipelto, que se unió en 1994.
